What are extended Warranties?

Most appliances, vehicles and motorcycles bought in NZ come with a manufacturer's guarantee, which typically lasts for 12 months and protects you against breakdowns or electrical faults. Purchasing a warranty is like 'upgrading' your guarantee and could give you, cover that lasts for one or more years after the end of your manufactures warranty.
